Requesting additional software to be installed in computer labs

Before requesting software to be installed, please check what software is currently available in computer labs.

Additional software will only be installed if it has satisfied purchasing, licensing and technical requirements.

A fund source is required for the purchase of approved software and the quantity of licenses needed, the budget is not provided by Technical Services.

The standard computer lab image is re-built at the end of each year and installed to all the labs by February. If you wish your additional software to become part of the lab image, you must request it before December. To request additional software to be included in the standard lab image please consult with (Clayton labs) or (Peninsula labs).

For software installations during the year, please submit a Jobdesk request and allow 5 working days for completion.
