DIISR research publications collection for staff

Who to contact

Should you experience difficulty with the process or have any questions, please contact the respective Administrative Officers - Research on your campus.

In addition, the publication coordinator, Trudi Brunton is available to provide assistance.

The Faculty of Education will collect publications in all Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research or DIISR (formerly DEEWR) categories including authored books (A1), book chapters (B1), refereed journal articles (C1), refereed conference papers (E1) and other research publication categories eligible for the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) exercise.

It is important that all of your publications are recorded because:

  • The Faculty receives DIISR funding based on research publications. To enable this to happen we need to report all our publications according to the categories recognised by DIISR
  • Details of your research activity are used to define research areas
  • We need to acknowledge and celebrate our publications
  • Documenting our research profile is important to the Faculty’s reputation and feeds directly into student enrolments, our contribution to education and our projections.
  • All your other research publications (non-DIISR) need to be forwarded to the Faculty Research Office to be eligible for the ERA

The closing date for 2009 DIISR publications to the Faculty Research Office is Friday 19 March 2010.
